Christmas Party 2011

Our 2011 Holiday Party included pizza, drinks, ice cream and sweets. The party life saver for the kids included a Moon Jump donated by one of our parents. The kids were more interested in the Moon Jumper then the food. The evening ended up with alot of sweaty smiling kids.

If your interested in a VERY AFFORDABLE rental of a Moon Jumper, Tables & Chairs, Tents etc. email Ana at  onestoppartyrental@yahoo.com.

Old School & Recent Pics

Alot of my oldest pictures were damaged when my basement flooded. These are some of the survivors. If any of my old students have anything you would like to send me please do! The memories live on.

Also notice the picture with no sparring equipment and NO I didn't get disqualified . . . this time.

Seisan Kata

We have taken a section of Seisan Kata and given you a front & side view and then added bunkai with a few options. These moves are being demonstrated by Mr. Tony Leveling (beard) & Sensei Bob Crosby.

Master Keith Smith and Sensei Bob Crosby demonstrate a sequence of bunkai from Toko Meni No Kun bo kata.

It is believed Toko Meni developed this kata over 300 years ago in the 18th century. It is also said that it took him 20 years to perfect this kata. Origionally this kata was preformed on the left-hand side. Grand Master Tatsuo Shimabuku changed this kata to the right side of the body, as most students were right-handed.

Some of the outstanding features are the "Baseball Strike", Thrust Strikes, and Groin Rake. This kata comes from the Shuri-Te and Shorin-ryu (Forest method) systems.

Performance time for this kata is 70-75 seconds
